Lake Ontario Monster Brown Trout and More 4/12/15

Decided to take a little road trip with my friend Darrell this weekend, so we headed up to Lake Ontario to fish with Capt. Kevin Davis of Catch the Drift Charters for some spring brown trout today. We had a great trip, and ended up with about 15 brown trout, including some really big fish (beat my personal best twice today). Also caught two small coho salmon, a fat 5lb rainbow and a nice smallmouth bass. For anyone wanting to catch big trout and salmon on Lake Ontario as well as the Oswego and Salmon rivers, Capt. Kevin is simply the best. Here are some pics:

With proper regs and enforcement we could have a similar fisherie at the valley..
kinda like it was in the 80's and 90'z...but thats a whole nother thread....

Definitely some beautiful lookin fish. Great catch!! Looks like the weather was great too, I think the last time I was on Erie there were 4-6 ft waves. Trip well spent nnonetheless. Congrats bro.

Kevin Davis is an amazing guide I've fished with a few times and had great results. Easily the toughest guy I know and an inspiration. LOCKED!
