Western Lake Erie walleye !

Launched at 700 am ran 10 min. Towards the reefs slow pic. 1st fish at 730. Busted a walleye cherry then trolled around till 1 slow bite a few doubles and ended day with 16 fish to 33 inch and 11 lbs. total weight 129 lb with a 8lb average ! A few small 5 pounders hurt average. Good day and ran back to dock Safely!

wow, how abundant are those walleye up there? that's one hell of a haul.

I grew up in MI, Lake Erie is the best walleye fishery in the world. What you have here is a very typical haul.

Shrimpy- Me too. I am itchin for some fishin!!! As nice as those walleye are I do not get much out of it. There is nothing better then fresh fluke in the fryer!!! Hopefully I get down 2/3 days June, and 2/3 days in August then at least one trip in Sept/October for the tunas!!!
