black river bowin

Got Out again this morning and decided to hit up the black river. Got to river around 8 walked down to one of the well known holes on the river shared the hole with two other anglers and ten min later had five bows on the stringer leaving a spot just in case..... Plucked easy fifteen out there and headed down river to fish the pockets,worked the area jumped up on a rock and saw a heard of bows had to be thirty fish in this little pocket ive seen just about evrey angler walk by evrey time im there throw in and instantly hookup eventually at one point it was just got to be silly hah.... Good thing is i had my buddy new to fishing go to town guiding him. Eventually we both had enough took one more cast and zzzzzz bang a decent bow prob 18-20. Hopefully the 4 I released there yesterday survive.. They were tiny guys caught on egg patterns and nymphs.. Was a fun time, bite has been good even with cold water :cool:

Sweet catching mikey! Save a few whole ones in the freezer. A lil birdie told me they make good hook baits for swordies at night in the deep! :D:D:D
