Does anyone have a recommendation for a FLUORO line for spinning reels? Love the visibility (or shall I say lack of) of FLUORO, abrasion resistance & the sink rate/properties. Have had but have had nothing but nightmares with bird nests & uncoiling of fluoro on spinning reels-especially early in the season when the water is cold.

Since I like to use a spinning set up for drop shot & jigging it would seen that fluoro would be perfect for that application. Have using braid but it tends to dig into wood & has too much buoyancy for a proper presentation. Mono does not dig onto wood as much but stretches, has minimal abrasion resistance & has even more buoyancy.

I have tried SEAGAR, BERKLEY100% & a few others but ended up stripping & re-using as leader material.

Any suggestions for a subtle fluoro that will work on a spinning reel with going slinky on me & raising my BP?

Run a search on this topic as there have been many discussions on it here.

Personally, I use Seaguar Invizx with KVD line conditioner that I stretch out regularly and have no issues. A bunch of folks on here also like the P-Line Flouro coated line

you want my opinion, spool up with braid and put flouro as the leader, however long you want it. 20 feet if you want, it'll still cast better and be more manageable than spooling with flouro and having it explode off the reel in coils.

This is dead on

Exactly what I do. Can't stand the coiling of Flouro.

I usually do double uni knot between Braid and Flouro.
