I took a peek in my plug box for the first time since late November and DAAAAYUM, lots of the hooks are mangled lol... Bent, broken, twisted, dulled, rusted, etc etc. it was a good season with the plugs!
You guys have any recommended replacement trebles that you prefer? Gonna take some time the next few weeks and make some much needed changes. The plugs in mind are husky jerks from hj9-15, bombers, yo Zuri crystal minnows, jointed minnows, etc.; all plugs are 3.5" & larger...
Thanks!

I just use Eagle Claw trebles. While not the best hook around they are still a cut above the stock hooks that come on a lot of lures, and they are inexpensive if you have a lot to replace.

Yep. they are all you will ever need... anything else is overkill in fresh water IMHO
one more thing... Cut one hook off of each treble, leaving you with a double hook.. You will NEVER hook one fish less I promise you.. The lure action will be every bit as good or better, and you will kill a LOT fewer fish.. I have been doing it for years.. I will never use a treble again..| Duals hook up just as well, but unhook 10 times easier, and snag bottom a lot less as well... bob
