The Jersey Shore Trout Unlimited , US Fish and Wildlife, and the town of Howell are starting the early planning phases of stream restoration at Squankum Brook! Bring back the brook trout.

I think you'll need to bring in your own brook trout. The state doesn't sound interested or able to do so for years.
