With no luck but a few follows with lures today, baited up for some bottom feeders. I've caught them before a few times but got my pb mirror carp today. Thing was really plump! But Def a great fight and hope to see more of them biggies soon.

Nice fish.
I should get off the couch and over to Shop Rite for a couple of cans of corn.

Worm or corn? I would think they prefer protein this time of the year?:p

Have caught a few on worms but its usually luck or waiting a while. Go to for carp for me is always bread, they like all kinds. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to use corn because they aren't able to digest it properly.

Nice carp! Mirrors certainly are not a common catch. I've only caught 2 out of a ton of carp. Congrats!

NJDEP suggests corn or dough for carp:

Doesn't mean you aren't right, too!
By the pics you post here, you obviously know what you are doing.
