Ice to Nice

Here's a look at some trout spots in Somerset County. Two weeks ago there was still lots of ice on the banks and in the shallows. What a difference two weeks and some sun can make.The first two pictures were in the exact location from two weeks ago when the stream was shrouded in ice.

maybe should have brought my stuff to the headwaters of the passaic today for after work, but too late now. it'll be time soon enough! one more weekend of ice fishing...very sloppy ice fishing haha

Fish or no fish....boy is that some awesome NJ scenery to take in.....its not about catchin...... take it all in fellas....
