Every year the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center opens its doors to the public for the annual Open House, which usually takes place the weekend before Trout Season opens. The event is held at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, rain or shine.
