i have to give it one last shot, this might be the last weekend of safe ice at rvr. Anyway I'm getting there early with my friend and I figure the bigger the hunting party, the more area we can cover and the better our chances! And if we find one laker I think there's a good chance if we act fast we can nail a wolf pack of them!

So who wants in on the njf laker hunting party? Feel free to text me if you're out there tomorrow 201-317-2374 or call. We can make it a team effort since it might be the last chance for a while to ice a lake trout (maybe next weekend if we r lucky but I'd bet it'll be sketchy by then)

Decided to take my son and granddaughters to the Suffern, N.Y. show. Best show around this area. Going to Cranbury Lake Sunday. Good luck at RVR. Let us know how you did. I got skunked twice there this year. Tough place to produce a good catch.

Just caught up with you then cuz, I'm 0/2 on rvr ice and I'm pretty damn bitter about it if I do say so haha. Decided to wait till they opened the gate to the other side and we ended up near the guys who have been filming all the lake trout jigging action lately, we thought, well this might be a good sign.

Nope, didn't mark a thing, must of punched holes over 200 yards of that area from mostly 60-90' on some good steeper drops and deeper into 115' and even poked around towards the tower into 25'. Didn't see anyone else catch anything either or hear any excitement...guess it depends on the day.

I'm going back to my comfort zone! jigging up perch and carp from the Pizza Hut pond until I can get my Jon boat in the water!

Oh boy, lol! Some people I know did well by the NT today. Quite a few Lakers came through the holes today. You zig zagged off course my friend. It happens! I got my arse kicked today as well! It's all good!!!

Don't feel bad my dude!! Fished 9hrs and 2 different spots Friday and only had a stinky white perch to show for it... I'm starting to hear the faint whining of a fat lady!!!
