PB Hybrid that still stands to this day. I believe I've hooked bigger by the sounds of the bearings in some of my reels, LOL! This would be the biggest fish of the 2010 KDC Stew Lant LH Challenge. 'Brid went 8lbs 14ozs. Weighed in a bunch of Walleye and LM but still only placed 3rd overall. Got a nice rod/reel combo thanx to this WIPER!!! YEA BUDDY!!!

3rd over all and no money? They used to pay out 1-3 and gift certificate for 4-6. Just one big hunk of muscle those fish are! I once told NAFC magazine if I had to pick just one freshwater fish to catch for the rest of my life, as hard as it would be for me to just target one species, I'd have to pick the hybrid striper! You just can't beat them lbs for lbs! Hell of a catch there...what's the emergency??

Chris, I got the money for 3rd and the rod/reel combo for biggest fish. I weighed in everything at this contest but only managed to get 3rd overall somehow. Greatest 24 hours on the water for me! GREAT TIMES!!!

I guess the emergency is the snow and my kids are home with me going BONKERS!!! Hahahaha! Gotta love snow days!

I hear ya on that dude! Exhausting my entertainment options already. There's fishing on nbc sports network, but that only interests me! Hahaha!

Nice hybrid! Good day to prep the gear for the last month of ice fishing season. We'll be ice fishing in tshirts in a week or 2.

thats a dandy Eddie, you look good in your younger years hahahhah.....we,re all going bonkers these days, gotta get the last licks in on the ice cause open water is gonna be here soon.......Im headed out later to michigan to pick up the new boat, Im itchin too

Great Hybrid.
I looked up the length-weight chart to see how long a nearly nine-pound hybrid is since I don't weigh fish. What is interesting is how the weight of these fish increases rapidly as the fish gets longer. For example a 24 inch bass is almost twice as heavy as a 20 inch fish.
