I am proud to represent the International Gamefish Association at this first ever Freshwater Seminar March 12 in Somerville N.J. at 7 p.m. Several other great speakers will also be on hand for this action-packed "Freshwater Tactics". All proceeds will go to benefit IGFA youth programs. Contact Capt. Gene Nigro at 908-208-4523 for info.

It was a good time. I especially enjoyed the presentation by Ed about Lake Hopatcong. I plan on spending some time there in the kayak this season and fishing more places. I almost exclusively fished the Passaic last year as it's so close to the store.

I wasn't aware of this, but I would be happy to contribute if you have such an event for next year.....I have several presentations ready to go on structure fishing and musky fishing in the state of NJ.:) Capt. Dave Vollenweider Live to Fish Guide Service, LLC

The I.G.F.A. put this together nicely. Attendance was about 25 and all the presenters were very good. KDC Club Prez Ed Mackin went first and if anyone knows Hopatcong it's Ed. Jon Shein the kayak guru went next and had a great presentation followed by Anthony Guerrera and Mike Kalinchok of the RVTA. I went last and covered a few unique tips. Thanks to Capt. Gene Nigro and his helpers with the I.G.F.A. for putting this together as a fund-raiser for youth programs. -Lido

p.s. unlike many other organizations out there the I.G.F.A. has but one mission- to promote conservation of gamefish.
