Gwl in the wind

Hot gwl for a few hours today. holy windy! Only managed jigging one small perch in 30 fow. No flags on the extra large shinners. Had to ice pick em out tho

Feel bad for you. That lake can be rough with this wind direction. Where did you get in on it?

Brutal today. I spent the 4 coldest hours of my life on waywayanda today.

Haven't fished Wawayanda in years. Used to get trout, bass and pickerel pretty regularly. Anything through ice?

Short pickerel, barely made the effort worth it but I took a buddy out that was new to ice so he wanted to go regardless.

Brother and sister in law have a house over near the castle. At least I could always go inside to warm up for a few that way. It was cooold.

Nice to be able to hide from elements. My friend tried going to GWL east side but there appears to be a swath of open water there still.
