I would like some recommendations on thin wire Circle hooks. Anyone have an opinion or preference.

What do you plan on fishing for? I use them on some of my Ling rigs they work nicely.

I've used Owner for awhile now & no issues , that being said there R some competitive lesser known brands that I've also used . Seem to be same quality but less expensive .
Look @ Gama & Quick rig for some comparisons . Quick Rig definitely a solid big game hook ! I've used them for at least ten seasons for my go to bunker circle hook for bass .
Inshore species like fluke , general bottom I like shiner style , good track record on that hook especially in lighter wire .
Bottom fishing I like to set hook so circle is not my go to style. Another feature regarding shiner hooks is that they seldom get swallowed so release is easier .
Really depends on species ur after ,tog it's all Octopus style for most .

I would not use a thin wire foe Stripers. HD Charlie Browns from Quick Rigs R a far better choice! Those hooks were developed by me a decade or so ago for the company just for the Striper fishery .

The best circle hooks are not off set but must be in-line circle hooks. I found that out the hard way but now I'm 100% corner of the mouth hooking so far this season with the in-line circle hooks on tip-ups (gamakatsu brand hooks).

Remember not to set the hook at all just apply the resistance and then start the fight.

And if the circle hook gets any thing less than brand new razor sharp, toss it! It'll never be the same again no matter how well you re-sharpen it.
