Fish Monger II Thurs 12/18 Blackfish to 12 1/4 lbs -
Considering the tough conditions with the wind current and cold it was a good day on the blackfish grounds! Picked away all day at good quality fish... just about all nice size roasters...at times the conditions made it tough but when ya got a bite it was usually a good one. Looked over n seen the quiet Kurtis Berry rod doubled over n up to the net came another Monger Monster at 12 1/4 lbs he also had a double header keeper including a 8 lber and 10 keepers. Phil was hi hook with 13 and 76 year old first time togger John stayed at the rail all day n managed his limit ( n out fished Stelios Gatanas) Some guys struggled but everyone contributed to the box wound up with 56 keepers just a few short of the guys 10 man limit. Give the guys alot of credit it was windy n it was cold but the reward was a nice box of fish. Back at it every day we can. Thanks again guys
