Fishing this weekend 10/15

Hey all, it's been awhile since I posted, been busy with work and attending my 14 year old son's football practices, games and now wrestling since August. I have him this weekend and he doesnt have any activities so I am thinking of taking him fishing. Any advise on what species to target? We live in Woodbridge and open local to about an hour away. Thanks in advance for advise!

Crappie action has been good on small ponds and other choice areas around Union County. Small Shiners under a bobber and small jigs will get it done. Bass are still chewing as well. Get out and get em!!!
