Fished the main stem of the Raritan river below Duke Island Park for a while on Tuesday, nothing. Fished the lower South Branch of the Raritan river on Wednesday around Stanton Station down river, nothing.
BUT................ As I get older I really am learning a lot. If you see something you don't like, SAY SOMETHING. Recent efforts on the Raritan river have been amazing just by saying something.
This photo I took turned into this.

I am a saltwater angler but this work in our State is great....a few people taking action without any reason other than doing the right thing for wildlife and the future of the river. Congratulations....my best to you.

3 thumbs up to the fine people keeping our rivers clean. Think about this, it all started with a very small handful of people but now there's water companies, environmental groups and all kinds of kind hearted humans out there. Id like to buy all these volunteers dinner one day. Great work all around and THANK YOU!!!

Andy,
Thanks for all your efforts and everyone's efforts who took it upon themselves to make a difference. It's unconscionable what some people will do but unfortunately there are many scum in this world who could care less about polluting a river or worse. If they're caught in the act, they should be forced to remove ALL tires from that stretch and then serve jail time. These rivers can be a thing of beauty if protected and they're a resource which benefits all of us. Your efforts leading this charge are very appreciated!
