Any opinions? I have my jigging rod set up with it. I put plenty of top shot on because it took me a but to get the splicing done and I wouldn't want to do it at sea.

Should be fairly easy to splice , proper needle & should take a few minutes to complete inserting mono . Whipping or nn should be a couple more minutes
Easiest way to complete at sea if required is to insert mono & half hitch or NN don't have to whip finish for expediency !
If UR expirencing difficulty in inserting mono then UR not bulking mono enough , wrong match with needle or line size or not blunting edge of mono!
AlwYs use 16 end product or Dacron makes it much easier !!
