some bass 10/10 & fish question with pic

Hit the local bass holes 2day & came out on top. Bass galore & they wouldn't come in easy! Had strong braid on an ultra light rod so I was havin a blast! Nothing else seemed to wanna bite or even show themselves tho. The last 2 pics are the same fish, I haven't seen a bass with markings like it b4. Not sure if the blackness is from birth or developed from disease or something.? Any thoughts?

Couple nice Larrys you got there. Interesting spot too, looks like a true honey hole, lol..... I've seen those markings on bass before. Forget what causes it but it doesn't seem to harm the fish in any way.

I see those spots on the bass all the time, not sure what it is but the fish always seem to be healthy. Way to lay the SMACKDOWN on some Green Carp! :D

Nice fish. I seem to catch bass with those markings all the time but only out I f the DnR canal
