On September 15th @ 7:30pm speaker Don Baylor a biologist with Aquatic Resource Consulting will present EASTERN HATCHES.
This program emphasizes the importance of doing your own observation and experimentation. It presents the natural phenomena and aesthetic experiences that make fly fishing a continual intrigue. The program includes the following:
A seasonal guide to eastern hatches
Some little-known facts about major hatches
The importance of stream-to-stream variation
Correlation of immature and adult stages
Recommended patterns, theories of fly design
Techniques for different hatches
Time of year, time of day, and water types for various hatches
