I noticed that I get more bass thumb late Summer - Fall than Spring - early Summer. I also noticed that bass teeth are sharper and bigger in late Summer - Fall than Spring. Is it because bass eats more crawfish in Spring and crush them while they eat more shads in Fall so sharper teeth to hold on to the shads?

Never noticed a difference. Seemed to me the more I get, the more my thumb would get shredded. This is my thumb after a 50+ bass day last year. It was by far my worst bass thumb ever. It actually hurt.

Light weight pair of leather gloves, cut off four of the fingers, or check Bass-Pro for what they carry for the problem we all wish we had.:D
