Didn't care for the show at all! It was a bunch of playful bitching and moaning at each other and half the show wasn't even about fishing it was showing them out at a bar drunk and dancing. I'll give it a second try next week but so far not a fan. Now the show before it Shark Hunters is a pretty good one!

I'm hoping that was a "get to know the crew episode" and it becomes more like Shark Hunters. Title was also MAKO MANIA which was a little deceiving.

I also expected more detail on their equipment, tackle, and rigging which I think would obviously be good for their sponsors and make it educational. Will definitely keep watching though the fiancé wasn't begging me to shut it off so that's a win!

Was hoping for better.. Video, equipt , scenery, boat were great but the idiot acting was a turnoff,, couldn't take more then 30 minutes and turned it off.. Oh well..

Hopefully the first episode was just to set the character traits of the crew. If it continues episodes like last night I will not be watching after week 2.

Classic TV mentality of trying to reach a wider audience that isn't that interested in fishing. Of course they lose their core audience, fishermen. Reminds me (on a grander scale) of how they ruined (for me) the summer Olympics. Used to be heavy on the boxing and all of a sudden we got heaping doses of prime time rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized swimming to draw in the female viewers.
