Went 2 check out some pools during lowtide @the falls in Clifton n found a few fish as well. Caught about a dozen lmb n coulda swore I saw a 12in bluefish follow my lure in n skate off. Never seen 1 on this river, would b cool if they ran up like the stripers! Any1 see these guys out there in tidal section?http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a573/Realdeal47/IMG401_zps5a67f83f.jpg (http://s1284.photobucket.com/user/Realdeal47/media/IMG401_zps5a67f83f.jpg.html)http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a573/Realdeal47/IMG389-1_zpsccc50770.jpg (http://s1284.photobucket.com/user/Realdeal47/media/IMG389-1_zpsccc50770.jpg.html)

I think I know where this is. You ever catch stripers there?

Yes, enter off of Ackerman Ave onto entrance for rte20 north but stay to the right. Dundee island preserve is straigjt on in along wit parking. Can get stripers but wait for high tide for something sizeable.

Was carp fishing in Kearny by THE CREW LAUNCH when it was high tide a school of peanut bunker were being harassed by blues or stripers it was late like 10pm but that was a couple years ago,you can get stripers with blood worms in that area I would try a bunker chunk on a incoming tide, and also you can take 21 south to mill street get off exit stay left and pullover on the bridge rite there use a million candle flash lite at nite shine in water to see stripers run from one side to the other and use worms if they are there and you will catch stripers, trust me we caught them there it's like 8 ft of water on high tide.. Check it out guys;)

Did you guys ever hear of spot burning? It's all good to share info but do it through pm on specific spots there's a lot of lurkers that'll be fishing those holes if you just lay it out there for them with directions and all.

Don't really mind spot burnin, at least @ the falls in Clifton, or on the Garfield side, or any public spot thats DEFINITLY been fished b4. I've also got a private spot that that my friend n I forged outta the bank n sometimes find disregarded tackle left behind from fisherman. Tho I've only been 2 Mill St spot a few times, can tell thats also been used for years as well. You only have 81miles of river but... CATCH SOME FISH FELLAZ!!
