Delaware R - 7/27

Fished the river in the DGWNRA today. Tossed around a spinner for a few hours in the slower area around one of the big islands and picked up a nice variety of fish. Did pretty well considering the hundreds of canoes passing by. One guy asked "Catching anything?" I said "A few smallmouths". He said "Whats that?" I'm not making this stuff up:D

Raspberries are ripe and taste great. Might explain the bear prints I saw today. They love them too.

This is a great summer for raspberries. Must have been all that rain we got last summer.

You certainly did better than I did last time I was there. All I could find were midget bass; - when I could find bass.

I believe that sunfish is a Redbreast Sunfish.
