Took advantage of a day off on Friday and explored a new stretch of river. Hit the water around nine and motored out for a good 30-40 min. Levels and flow were good but the water was still pretty stained. Fished some real nice areas but skunked out the first hour or two. Then I hooked up a shorty on an inline. Cool, no skunk, lol......

Then, not to long after, got slammed boatside by one a bit bigger. Saw him grab it, turn, and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!!!!! Couple hard runs and sob even managed to dodge the damn net 3 times. Measured out to a THICK 31" and some change. Def a great fighter!! Quick CPR and of she went. Packed it up soon after and called it a day.

Nice catches, I donated about $25 worth of tackle to the PR lookin for some teeth today!

One last day before up she goes so get your casts in today. Looks like 2-4" rain coming. This pattern just won't end.

Way to grind it out G! Lots of guys getting out and exploring new areas lately. Glad you found em. Keep that nasty skunk away, it's not good to ride dirty and stinky. Nice fish!!!:D

I was going to try and fish the PR tomorrow morning since I'm working from home 12-8. Looks like the rain already started :mad:

Nice dude, they have definetly been on the feed lately. Had a MONSTER yesterday, stay tuned for pics (hopefully :mad:).

Thanks! Def glad to get a couple in before the river goes up, again. Been a challenge matching up free time with decent conditions, lol.

Oh yeah, it's coming down pretty good right now. Rivers gonna swell for sure.
