Fly fished gorge early on 2 landed including 20-21in Rainbow leaped twice like 5 feet in the air.. In the net, hook out, hold em up for a pic.. GONE..lol slippery fish w/ plenty fight left.. Gorge was tuff!! 2-5 but the biggin was worth it all + a new sally I haven't seen b4.. 180.. Storm looks like it about to roll in.. Musky on the brain.. Arrived 721 at 735 fish was caught and released.. Fatty, just 2 feet too short!! They were going off after dark but couldn't figure it out.. Anyone keep a musky log... If you do plz let me know how much detail you include like moon phases, barometric pressure, Etc.. Full moon sat If you guys believe in WARTER WOLFS .. GET EM'!! BIGGINS!!!

There's a road in East Bruns by me that separates a small lake and some boggy, wooded wetland. In the late spring/early summer, they basically block the road due to a salamander migration. They even have a permanent yellow street sign that says something like "salamander crossing". Pretty wild lil' tidbit of info...

Very cool pics. That's a Longtail Salamander (Eurycea longicauda)
They are quite rare in New Jersey due to habitat destruction.

Wonder if that was you i seen at gorge i was there with the fly rod lost a beast of a brown and two misses o. Dry flys down low
