No Eyes Last Nite...But We Got Some Stripes!! 6-20/6-21-2014

Hit a night bite with GetANet last night. Met up around 830 PM and launched by 1015 PM. After waiting for the sounds of mayhem for about an hour and a half, things just went completely bonkers around midnight. Bowling ball blows ups and epic splashes all over the place. It was truly a sight to behold! The madness probably lasted 2.5-3 hrs. It was easily enough to drive you mad! Asinine number of blow ups in every direction, but incredibly difficult to get them to chew on what we were throwing. We managed a slow pick and a nice doubleheader of 22"+ inch wipers in the later part of the evening. Fish were caught on a variety of lures. I had 4 and a channel. Dale had 3 and a white perch. All of the wipers looked like they swallowed softballs. Packed guts! We missed quite a few, too. I think Dale had one literally blast his plug out of he water at one point. It was nuts. They were blowing up so close to the boat that we were getting spalshed! Off the water after 4 am... Shot to shit today... Fish porn below. I'm officially addicted to the night bite. HELP!!!! Lol...

Shout out to 15FOOTER and his crew. Good meeting you guys out there and shootin the shit. We put a few more fish in the boat with the herring you kindly gave us. Dale and I appreciated it!

That a nice bunch of fish there boys. One of these nights I'm going to have to stay for the nite bite. I'll just have to get on the water at 10 or 11 not 5 or 6. When you get on that early it makes for a long night and I'm not as young as I once was.

Those are nice hybrids fellas..the night bite thing is great isnt it!!!! Looks like we should have stayed closer to you guys lol. We had a slow pick as well but our fish were on the smaller side except for 1 or 2..the new guy that was sleeping on the front of our boat was a pain in the ass or we would have been around more. Def worth waiting until later, man. I dont think the first fish was hooked until 1130-1200.

Thanks guys. Dale and I really had to work for them. Tired arms paid off though. We stuck it out and put a decent catch together. Good year so far on GetANet! Catch em' up!

I just wish we hittem a couple weeks before the herring spawn...before them guts get big there are far more aggressive fish...oh well time will tell.....tough nite beti it is.... until the summer free for al;l....ritr around da corner:eek:

was there something confusing about the post?/ other than the spelling?chitty keyboard bud....They are much more aggressive before and in the early parts of the herring spawn before they are gorged with bait.....

I was sober for the post....cant say the same about earlier that day...attended a graduation party and got a little sauced before softball....
