Check out Captain Troy A. Creasy - High Adventure Sportfishing out of Oswego, NY. Not sure about smallmouth but I have fished for walleyes and brows with him in the past and done well.

u can do well on smallies and eyes in NJ, the eye bite is hot right now. Head up to GWL for an overnight and u will kill em. Theres a few local guides who are rly good, smallies can be had at many NJ reservoirs and they r biting well too. If ur lookin to get away thats a diff story, but for a great bite theres awesome fishing here at home.

If you want to fish around Buffalo/Niagara, Barry Schultz is my guy. This is the place to go for Smallmouth and Walleye.

Contact the Fish on Motel in Pulaski. This time of year he does trips from 3pm to 11pm. Salmon during the day and walleye in the evening. I've been told its a fantastic trip

If you want to go to Erie Paul Castellano is up there as one of the best you can find. He is an absolute ace on the canadian side.
