Guess Capt. Dennis is tired. As usual Capt. and mate (Andrew) were outstanding if this were a Blackfish trip it was drop and reel. (how many times has anyone said (s.o.b.) cause you were catching 4-6 lb. tog) so we moved. Caught keeper seabass every move, but never got the big hit, ended day with about 60 seabass, a few cod, pollack and ling. I think Capt. was disappointed but I thought it was a very good day. Maybe it is me, but it was far superior than being at my desk. See you soon Capt.

Great day of fishing. What a shame the tog season is closed. I had 4 tog over 16 inches including 3 from 4 to 6 pounds on the first drop before we had to move to get away from the out of season tog.
Lots of bites all day.We wound up with a nice catch of quality sea bass, some ling and a few cod. Not a bad day at all.

Just remember 1 thing about 90% of those Blackfish were females full of roe. What the capt did was honorable letting those fish alone you don't want to hurt the future. As much as I hate to see the season closed at his time of the year for them this is one time I can agree with the regulators. Nice trip you guys had sounded like you guys had a lot of fun.

I caught an 18"er trolling a stretch the other day ....killed me throw it back, but it was clearly full of babies...
