The Dan Cells family joined Capt Paul today for a day of Bass fishing. Paul headed north and got into some solid bait and Bass reads off Asbury Park We put out the Trolling gear and only had a few short bites with no hook ups. After working the area for 2 hours we finally got our first solid bite. Dan got on the rod and in short order had a beautiful 49" Bass in the box. The Bass tipped the scale at 42 lbs. It was a great way to start the day. As we approached the tide change the bite totally died. On the afternoon outgoing we landed 2 more Bass and finished the day with 3 The bait is getting thicker and the Bass are getting larger it's only a matter of time before this fishing breaks wide open..:):):)
