Me my brother & Tautog fished the Fish Tank today we had a good day with a nice mixed bag of fish. My brother got a nice Flounder a Cod some Ling & a few Blackfish that went back unharmed. We all did well today filling our cooler with a nice array of fish. Everybody went home today with some nice filets a nice start to the season opener. A great Job by Tommy Joesph & Ed as well many drops all drops had fish on them.

A bit of a slow bite today but most of what you did get was quality. I finished up with 7 sea bass to 3 3/4lbs and the rest were 15"ers. I also had 7 ling with a 3 1/2lber. Had a bunch of throwback tog, mostly 13"ers but one would have made it in open season. Nice to formally meet Captain Tommy. We know lots of the same people but have only seen each other in passing down at the marina. In before 2pm and then a nice dunch at Wok n Roll. Nice readings but we need 2 or 3 degrees more of water temp for the really good fishing.

Thanks for the write up as always, Doug. Glad you guys had a good time out there. Wish I could've been there with you. I love the pic of your brother and the flounder! Go JETS!!!
Richie - we always have a spot for you so if you're looking to sail on Thurs, please give me a call.
Here are a few more pics that Capt. Ed sent me this afternoon. I have to say his picture-taking skills are improving:D

BTW - Sooo jealous to hear you guys went to Wok and Roll. The place is amazing and the food is out of this world! Did Frank cook up any of the fish for you?

Frank prepared his usual array of great Asian fusion food. We did not eat anything we caught yesterday but Frank would have prepared it for us if we wanted it. Great fishing again with the Tank. I'm looking forward towards seeing the new fish tank. See you soon Kevin I can't wait until my next trip.

Lets see....we had some sushi rolls, general tso's beef, shrimp with broccoli, a chicken and rice noodle dish and some of his special bluefish cakes that he tries to convince you are crab. They are pretty good but I'd need to have at least a twelve pack in me to think they were crab.:D

Sea bass crudo with olive oil, lemon and malvern sea salt over baby arugula, panko fried sea bass with tartar sauce and roasted herbed fingerling potatoes for dinner. Thank god I gave up clean living for New Years.
That sounds Awesome. I guess you guys forgot my # when you went to Franks. :Dds
