Hey guys,

Me and my buddy decided to take a drive to Merrill Creek yesterday to yak fish for some LMB and SMB. We arrived around 11am to some nice weather and light breeze. Started off working some jerkbaits and jigs but wasn't getting any love. Decided to switch to spinnerbaits, worked some coves and finally hooked up. Bass seemed to be hanging out in 10 - 15ft of water and I assume getting ready to spawn. Wind started to pick up in the afternoon and we decided to call it a day. Only my second time there. Lovely body of water and extremely deep. Will take me some time to figure out but overall it was good time. Enjoy the pics.

I get my biggest Smallmouth in 60 ft. of water. Think outside the box there, those bass get pounded with the same lures day in and day out. Nice fish, glad you had a fun day up there.
