Party boat angler bummer of a monday

We had our best gang of the season on a beautiful morning with the ling biting. Mike had the fares collected and the clams were all shucked and the generator was running. The port engine was running and I started the Starboard engine. Well it ran for 2 seconds I heard a noise and it shut down. From where the noise came from I figured it was a blower drive which was confirmed by the mechanic 3 hours later. The boat was full of regulars who had all come down for some ling and I felt like crap telling them we couldn't sail. The worst is most did not want to go bass fishing and went home.

We were able to get all the parts and should be running tomorrow morning. I will confirm this tomorrow evening.

That really sucks Capt. George. I'm sorry to hear that. I know the feeling, I lost last Monday's trip also. But not with all those fares though. Everybody thinks its easy in our business. Anyway, I'm glad you're back in action. I'll see you in the morning brother George. - Capt. Scott

Tough luck Captain George, I was looking forward to some ling. It was to beautiful of a day to go home. Spent a nice morning with Captain Tom and Rich. We'll get them next time.
