hack river shad

went to hack river this past tues and i foul hooked a shad in his dorsel fin
it was about 15" long what a fight this friday i foul hooked 3 more shad
also missed a couple more. someone said that their mouths are
easy to pull the hook out.

There are a ton down there. In the winter you couldn't go 10ft without seeing a dead one floating.
