Hit the falls today and nailed 1 bass 38" @ 20lbs and dropped another one similiar in size....and as MR FASTEDDIE noted earlier there are ton of eyes in the river I have been banging them for the last month out of there.

a dumb question: what kind of a bait/lure do you use for Striper?
Thank you.

YEA BUDDY!!! Glad you got that big one. You definately deserve it. We both know how many hours you have to put in to get that kind of fish. AWESOME catch my friend, just spectacular. Big fat Striper has a nice full belly. DAMN, that river is amazing when the fish are on the move. Congrats to a fine angler on an AMAZING catch. YEA BUDDY!!!
P.S. Did your a adrenaline level go down yet? Are your arms and hands still shaking from fighting that beast in that crazy current? Wish I was there to get a pic of you holding the BEAST!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!:D

Nice catch Shucker! Texas rigged Purple twisty tail worms with a ocean bobber seems to be the ticket! :D

Definately not for the faint at heart. I have never fished for salmon on the rivers up North but I could possibly compare it to that. Leave the light stuff at home. The photos are great because I will personally be forwarding them to NJ US Fish and Wildlife and all others involved in keeping the river clean and healthy. I will also ask that you please release these fish unharmed so they can make babies in the river. Needless to say it is photos like these that helps us all realize what a great river she is and how far it has come. Enjoy the river. PS, Mr. Game Warden has been very busy spending many hours on the river as of lately :) Nice fish Shucker !
