Spring Lake Pigs 5-2-14

Made the short drive to Spring Lake after work and was rewarded with some fat largies that were crashing my spinnerbait. It constantly amazes me how people will bypass the 2-3 lb. bass in that lake (and even the 10+ lb. carp) in favor of 10" stocked trout. Oh well, more for me! :D

Bass are ignored there because many of the trout are much bigger than 10" there. Still probably 100 2-8lbers roaming around after the contest.

nice video Lard.... I'm at Spring Lake since opening day and all my rainbows have been 12"-20".... fly rod and also rooster tails..... guess I'll have to do some bassin' too :D
