OK I know its just a few but there are some on here who appreciate Playoff Hockey. (Duffman)

Another thing to MISS about LAB as I would like nothing more than to Gloat over the Rangers moving on while the Devils (wait who?) are idle. Their Charlie Brown look a like coach on the outs etc,etc

Went to Game 5 Sunday with my son at MSG , nothing better, but needed a Defibulator , blood pressure meds and all pets, wife, kids and neighbors to vacate the area for last nights WIN over the philthys.

Now with the trash taken out the NY Rangers head to Sid City for da Pitts burgh Pens and hopefully a rematch with those Boston Brutes (if they get past Montreal)

Gotta love that sport, Kings come back from 3 down, Wild out Avs, Canadiens and Baaston coming up. ALL GOOD STUFF

Honestly I think the NHL has to review the 2 ref thing. They are more out of position than my rangers (in the 2nd period last nite) miss the important stuff, get in the way of the puck and players too often etc. Don't see the benefit.

Rangers games they missed St Louis Goal vs Flyers, Brassard OT Goal last nite, (as well as goals all season).

Imagine if Rangers Pouliot doesn't score after Brassard non call , the Penquins score and the crowd is nuts, then a review and they give the game to the Rangers as they would have had to. Wow good luck getting back to your hotel refs> Get it right, there is 2 of you!

Duffman / Larry: WTF is right zero goals / 0 for 33 on PP etc etc but honestly I feel we outplayed them 2 out of 3 games and they are beatable. Very frustrating to say the least and getting tired of staring at "cliché" post games until 1 AM :eek:. Wife says when r u coming to bed and I say I am not right in the head yet, they lost.

Stall crosscheck on Crosby head / shoulders should have / could have been a penalty but don't get the overdone response by Pitts media while I do get the concussion factor. That's playoff hockey! Let us score a couple and we wont crosscheck Sid in da head anymore:p

Good luck tonight! although our record against the Habs is suspect I think we stack up a little better against them than your Brutes. But as a Hockey fan the Bruins / Rangers matchup would be great as well.

But yeah Hank stood tall and the most passion I have seen out of the whole Rangers team all year. Its amazing that the 4th liners always seem to impact game 7's. Most Ranger faithful wanted to run Boyle out of town all season.
Tough defense but certainly not for the faint of heart last nite.

Hank has lousy record there and they are hot but think the physical toll on our D wont be as bad as it would have against the Bruins.

Hate that Price is out although "should" work to our advantage. As a true Ranger fan any change like this scares me. Look what Varlamov when he was a rookie with the caps did to us:eek:

Kreider will be run tonight and with that hand fresh off injury hope he doesn't bite and get into it but I fully expect a Dorsett / Prust fight early on. Prust will win but it will lift the rangers. If they try to run Hank, our PP puts it away early so maybe Habs will just try and play.

Agree Gerry: DO NOT want to go 7 this time around so hope we can wrap it up Thursday. Hank picked a bad time to suck but got little help. Crazy comeback only to play loose again. Its always been the Ranger way , nothing easy on the fans. 94 game 5 against Vancouver, up 3-1 in series, down 3-0 after 1 period, then tied it thanks to messier only to give up the 4th goal less than a minute later and lose 6-3. Sound familiar!!

Bottom line Kings finished off Rangers mistakes and Rangers didn't finish off Kings mistakes in first period when we could have jumped the score on them good.

All in all we showed them it wont be as easy as the "experts" thought and think we will take the game Sat with some small adjustments.

94 finals started off the same way :( Also read an article saying it would be cheaper to fly to LA rent a hotel room buy a ticket to the game in LA and fly back than to buy a ticket for a game at MSG. Not sure if that is true but makes me glad not to be a rags fan :D

Was on a business trip and had the pleasure of going to a Kings game a few years back the year I beleive they won Lord Stanley's Cup. Had 2 business associates visiting from the Ukraine. Some friends had a sky box there and invited us all up, a really nice treat. The guys from the Ukraine were in awe. A really nice venue they have there at Staples Stadium. Right in the middle of the LA Experience. Bars, resturants shops etc.

As much as I enjoyed it and as cool as it was, taking the train seeing everyone in their team gear, the atmosphere of the Garden and the hard core NY Hockey fans are hard to beat.

Great stuff right below. Bryant park was amazing for Game 1. Wish I could find the video of crowd reaction when we scored in the first. Shame we lost game 1 but easy to see NYC alive and well for Hockey Town USA F---K Detroit

What a Game!!! Could've went either way... just went the wrong way!!! hahahaha Everyone played their hearts out, certainly no blowout like everyone predicted. My ONLY beef last night was Nash.... he looked like an old lady skating all night and everytime someone touched him he fell down.. he had no energy but couldve been the game changer if he ramped up his game.... Not to worry, training camp opens 2nd week in Sept and the new season is only 16 weeks away!

Nice seeing a 2k view count in the non-fishing section...hockey fans lurking everywhere!

Yeah Dan ended up being a good hockey thread. Just about over it but man Macdonaugh and Hank deserved better in the OT's. Kings finished /we didn't end of story. Going to be interesting to see how much of this team stays together. hard for any ranger fan not to think this was our chance and see ya again in 20 but I do have faith we can get back again next year with some tweaks and cap room.
