First 5+ lb LMB of the season

Hit the small lake I live on for a few minutes this morning while the wife was getting ready to go hiking. First fish, a small 10" lmb on a big 3/4oz Rat-L-Trap. A few minutes later on my final cast (since she walked down to the dock to tell me she's ready) - BAM !!! big Larry on a swim bait. Fish went 5 1/4 lbs on the boga. WooHoo... Gonna be out back at it again tomorrow with Mitch... stay tuned...

Nice catch! Great looking fish! That beast looks like it has room in it's stomach for some grub. Probably be around 5.5 5.75 lbs when she's done doing her thing. SLOB!!!:D
