Smoke run-not so smallies

Took a run out to PA fer smokes and could'nt help myself....I had to hit the big D and give it a try....Boy am i glad i did!!!:)

After a nice battle i land one that was 22 and change...I was ready to leave after that but had only been fishin fer about fifteen min, so after sendin some pics to my e-mail i decided to make a few more throws and land one that goes 18 and half....My day is DONE....i've had enough addrenaline to need a nap....

OH WOW!!! Yep, your on the hunt and dialed in without a doubt. You are my motivation for getting out. That's a big girl right there. Great catch!!! Hopefully this fish gets others off there ARSES! Fish gotta eat, get out and get some! Time to do some river walking and some BRONZE hunting.

If I walk to far, which I've been known to do, is there anyone out there willing to pick me up and take me back to my truck? Last time I decided to walk a river, I wound up walking 7 miles and got too tired to walk back to my vehicle!!! No kidding!

OH NO!!! No more beers when Spring fishing is on. Ice season is over, it's a whole new world. When I'm walking rivers I'm in BEASTMODE!!! Feeling FOCUSED!!! ON DA HUNT!!!

I'll will be the first one to celebrate the catch at the end of the night though, that's for DAMN SURE!!! Shots of FIREBALL, SCOTCH three fingers with one rock, and some fine craft brews!

That's an amazing catch.

According to the Pennsylanvania Fish & Boat Commision, a twenty-two inch Smallmouth weighs about five-and-a-half pounds and is about fifteen years old!

I hope to see something anywhere near that range this year.

I have not posted it to the contest thread ------yet:) Not sure if I will....Its a long contest and I'm hoping more guys are gung ho and get involved....Only time will tell....Get out there and get those river slobs before they get on their beds....Once they get on their beds its a whole diff ball game....I find bed smallies to be very diff from bedding largies in that they are super spooky and tight lipped....

I don't like to fish fer bedding bass as much as I did when I was younger....knowledge has changed my perspective on the matter...
