Still on ice 3/16

Got out with the same 4 guys for a little Sunday fishin'. Action was not hot and heavy, but consistent enough to make for a fun day. A nice mix of Largemouth to 18", Pickerel to 26", and a nice "24 Channel Catfish, all on tipups. Didn't pull out the jigging rod, but due to the monster crappie/sunnie in the stomach of Dale's nice Pickerel(sick!!), I'd say they were around to be caught. Fished 16' and shallower.

Edges were just starting to get soft, but still a solid 9" in the area we fished.

Some nice catches there. I've been noticing the pickerel being caught lately are looking pretty well fed. I also read Lard Almightys post about the pickerel spawning. Is there a connection or just coincidence?

Yea It starting rippin and down I went, was pretty funny! Not the first of my slips and slides and falls from this year. If he had them all on vid it would make a great bloopers and blunders video!!!!:D

I hate to say it but it's true, I'm officially packing up the ice gear for the year!
