I'd look to south Jersey. I understand Round Valley still has plenty of open water but the ramps are frozen. Some place farther to the south may be open.

Heard peeps were ice fishing still at the valley...any idea of any good water in the south...I'm a north jersey guy

You can get appropriate fishing circumstances in north jersey right after two to three weeks gap. You'll surely found best water conditions then. :)

The ponds by me in Union County are just starting to thaw out. Only open water fishing I've done has been river fishing for carp. They're biting though. This rain tonight should help things out since it will be warmer for a good portion of the day. Shouldn't be too much of a refreeze tomorrow since the cold won't last.
