Banner day on Pines Lake (pics and Monster Pike vid)

Had the pleasure of fishing with DuckorBleed, MikeyTopaz and ScowardNJ today. Hit the lake around 8am and found a few small Bass and Pickerel. Made a couple moves and found a variety of hungry fish species. Highlights were Largemouth up to 4.5lbs, three big Pickerel 24.5"-26", a 24" Channel Cat and some Yellow Perch. Cake topper was a gorilla Pike that chewed the leader at the hole. Mammoth fish was approximately 38"-40", THICK and pissed! Got a quick video, not safe for work due to profanity by all. Great day with the boyz today some fish had by all and good times , just wanna throw out there i brought my sister and her bf both never fished before and after my sis nailing a big pikeralsaurus and a few other fish and her bf jake fighting that giant pike made my day! Banner day no doubt. Fine day of fishing guys and gal. Nothing but quality fish in that lake. Great catching all around. Wish we could've seen the one that got away. No worries, it will be caught eventually. Thanx for letting us enjoy your lake Rocco. Definately wish I was there today, I woulda grabbed that damn Pike with my teeth and ripped em out of the hole like a bear, LOL!!!!!!

Ugh.....the age old story about the one that got away....and it's engrained in YouTube eternity for ever! Just another memory that keeps us coming back....We had a great day of catching though....you never know whats gonna come out of a hole out there. Great day!

Those are some sweet fish guys. That pickerel is gigantic! Wouldve been sick to see that pike come all the way thru the ice. It's a catch in my book if you touch the leader! The video is a perfect representation of why we KEEP GOING BACK OUT FOR MORE!!!

Tipup, not to much action on the jig. Thats Justin's bass in that pic, he always gets the bigger fish cuz its his lake lol
Yesterday was awesome out there, i almost wana call out "sick:rolleyes:" this week n go back.

Yes we have caught hybrids but they are very tough to find, not many in there just a small pack left that roams the lake. only got them at night around baitfish balls on surface lures.
If you look into duckorbleeds threads he has a pic of a very nice wiper some guy got.
Walleye we have not caught but we have seen them follow lures to the boat.
My buddy Justin in the picture- his dad has got 2 eyes from PL.
