Looking for a spinning travel rod. 7, 7.5, 8 foot as I am flying to Fla. by inlaws.
Mostly pier fishing 20 lb braid for macks, pompao, sheepshead, sea trout.
Nothing huge 5-8 lb fish max.
Thx.

Dave I have one. You can buy it or borrow it what ever works for you. I think I live near you. Rich (201) 394-1026

Hey Dave, I cut down an 8ft. Spinning rod, into 3 pieces that fits into my suitcase after it got so expensive to fly with a 2 piece break down rod. If Rich's doesn't work for you, you could borrow mine. I also cut down a casting rod the same. They work great on the piers. Good luck, Papa

Thank you both on your offer.
I take well care of my gear and would do the same if I was to borrow.
My only issue is the baggage handlers. This being said I would rather not borrow in case of a problem with equipment.
I have rods at the in laws house in Fla., just thought a travel rod would be cool to have.
Rich, yep im in HH. I'm off the blvd just past the circle.
What travel rod do you have and what's $
Thanks again.
