Ice - This weekend?

Anyone hitting the ice this weekend? I'm looking to head out and hopefully get some flags.

Suprisngly a few bodies of big water stayed frozen how thick? Prob not! This weekend id stick to so coves dnt venture to far out or fish the small stuff ponds, edges are gone and whats left is very sketcky! Good luck be safe!

There's still safe ice out there. I'm sitting on 5-6" of ice right now in NJ and I didn't even need a plank to get on. Edges are bad in some spots and watch out for old holes and pressure cracks where the rain drained into. Luckily there is no snow on the ice so you can see where the bad spots are.

good luck out there adam... it was good meetin you last week... i will be back in town next week and look forward to the hopatcong m -n- g... you can find safe ice out there this weekend but be on your toes. sunday is your best bet... next two nites should do it right...
