View Full Version : Had ALOT of fun w/ trout yesterday!!

My buddy had to back out last minute yesterday, but I wanted to fish bad, so I headed out alone to one of my trout spots and it didn't disappoint.....Saw way over 100 fish throughout the day all over the river and ended up w/ 14.....Took some awesome scenic pics also just as the sun was going down.....Gonna head back again today w/ my buddy since most NNJ lakes are frozen and after XMAS plan on hitting the hard water with some of you guys ......Tip ups , auger, and jigging rods are all ready for action....Here's a few from yesterday!!.......

Easy on those fish if ur not keeping them.. It doesn't take much time out the water for there gills to start to freeze..

Awesome job Mitch - way to get it done. You'll be seeing a lot more rainbows proportionally for the next few years. They are more resistant to furunculosis so the hatchery is concentrating more on them for the next few years while they try to eradicate the outbreak that happened this year.

Nice going great looking fish. Be careful on that ice this weekend as a big warm-up is coming in the next few days. Be safe:)

Awesome pics.
I don't have the cold tolerence to be outdoors in this weather unless I am walking. Otherwise, I just freeze to the core.

I'm headed back out for one final day tomorrow..where are you going?.....Maybe I can meet you?......I just got in from a new spot today and ended up with 9 fish..all decent 15" plus ...Here's the best two fish from today.....

TRout assassin doesn't sound as good as Bass Assassin!!!.....But I'll take it!!..lol....Definately lets kick some ass tomorrow....talk to you in the am ...FISH ON BUDDY!!!!
