I'm going to try to get on the ice Friday or at least go for a ride to check out some spots. I'm sure we'll have 3" in some spots by Saturday

I can't wait for ice fishing but I can wait for at least maybe 5 or 6 inches at least! But hopefully soon!! We are going to have to make a meet and greet for some hard water.

Just pulled out my tipups and Auger......Gettin ready in a few more days/weeks ...I want to catch a Walleye through the ice....Struck out 2 seasons in a row....

Tough task getting a Walleye through the ice Mitch. Out of all the reports I hear from friends and witness, Monksville and the Delaware River produce the most Walleye through the ice from what I hear. I've caught quite a few, but not recently.

There is definate ice there but not sure how thick at this point.....If it stays cold like this, should be safe for sure by next week(if not already)...I'm headed out for some river trout this morning.....gonna be a cold one but I'm down!!!..
