Hit the Pequest today. Started around 830 AM and fished until 2 PM. Needless to say, it was COLD. Ice on my guides throughout the day. Managed 3 fish--2 bows and one small wild brown. The bows were pretty thick and feisty. In one spot I hooked a really nice fish drifting an egg. Took off downstream thrashing. Turned her and started working it back. She kept rolling--drag was set light, no horse play... then BOINK! Gone... Hook pulled. SH*T!!! That drives me nuts. But that's also what keeps us going back for more... Fish was 3-4 lbs conservatively--nice rainbow. Here's some shots from today.

Wish I could have been with ya brotha! Soon Enough!
Nice Fish!
Spray a touch of "Pam" on those rod guides wipe off the excess, that will keep them from freezing up.

Nice catch buddy. There's some big ones in there waiting to do battle. Glad you put a catch together despite the frigid temps!!!!

Nice fish and pics too. You forget the one you catch, but remember the one that got away.

Unfortunately, no... I spent a decent amount of time there, too. Had the one small brown outta there and rolled another smaller fish. Had the biggest fish a bit upstream past the fast water over the sketchy bridge. My other "breeder" hole downstream only produced an additional rainbow--which was taken on a CD3 in fire minnow.
Long slow day but I cant complain w/ a few nice fish!
