Fish poison Blackfish rods have been beating up on slippery slobs for a long, long time. No rod any where will outlast, or outperform a FishPoison!!!!

My tog chowder last night will attest to that Kevin.... thank you for my great Blackfish rod, among all the others I got from you.... You definitely get your money's worth!! You pay for the rod, not for all the fancy marketing and overhead that all the bigger companies have... never have had a problem with any of my rods...:D

Not to rain on your parade, but I have my first custom rod a Lamiglas made by Mike in sheepshead Bay 23 years ago from Mikes Tackle, and I still use it for tog.
All rods will last as long as you take care of them.
I also have an old fenwick rod from 1990 that I still use for fluke, so yeah.
Good Luck! :)

I wasn’t going to comment but I have to say, Russ, you are a classless prick! Kevin has been in business for many years and is proud and confident of his work. When he says “No rod anywhere will outlast, or outperform a FishPoison!!!!”, he is just merely standing up for his product that he, along with hundreds if not thousands of satisfied customers, believes in. For you to make a comment like you did regarding his statement on a post advertising his business is just an insult to a reputable local rod builder who I believe deserves more respect than that!

Hey Kevin, saying thanks again. This past sunday, 24 incher fell victim to my fish poison rod. Set the hook, fish started peeling drag off, raised the pole a tad, held it there without winding down, few seconds later fish was shot. Brought right up to the surface, just layed there. Mate grabbed the sinker, swung fish over the rail. Second slob this year. Thank You!!!
