It was a rough day out there today. The fish just didn't want to bite after throwing the tackle box at them. Finally got this beauty to bite a gold and black jigging rap., tipped the scales at 8 lbs even. Besides that boated a sunny and two yellow perch. Not one single crappie unbelievable this time of year on this lake. All my years of fishing all them hours and just left sitting in my boat scratching my head I'll tell ya. Anyway at least I didn't get skunked could be worse.

Thanx guys, I must say reading about how everone has been jiggin the hell out of the walleyes up there lately inspired me to get out there. Keep it up boys we are in prime jigging season

Awesome fish JRock. Post-frontal yesterday and high sunny skies can making fishing tough. Sometimes that's when you get you get the big ones though. I'll take the pool winner over the high-hook any day. Indeed a trophy man.
