Round Valley Shore Fishing ? ? ?

Thinkin of burning a sick day tomorrow and goin out tomorrow fishin. Was gonna hit the Musky and S/B for sure. Was thinking about goin to the Valley before sunrise and soakin some power bait for a hour or 2. Has anyone been there shore fishin latley or dont waste my time. Thanks for the input, Richie

went this morning at 6 and didn't get anything, but it was also super windy and so I wasn't surprised. As said before it's hit or miss, but I'd say go for it!

Sunday from the eastern shore, caught a 15” rainbow & a dink smallie on a Yo Zuri.

To me, that indicates that the water hasn’t cooled sufficiently.

Soon when it does, it will multiple trout catches & 0 smallies.

2 mature & 1 juv. bald eagles were cavorting overhead.

Yesterday, on the Yo Zuri, caught a 14” brown & a 9” smallie.

Had another larger trout on, but lost it.

A BIG fish followed the lure up, turned tail & swam off.

Had another fish on but lost it.

Saw a flock of 8 tundra swans circling overhead, & then they dropped down into the middle of the res. for a rest.

I ended up not stoppin at the valley last week, went straight to s/b. Got a 18" rainbow, hooked into a HUGE bow, thing jumped 2 feet outta the water. Had em on 3 times and lost em. I saw a ton of fish everywhere. Saw another 4 huge trout down in the gorge too but they wouldnt bite anything. Maybe the moon had something to do with it.

Thanksgiving morn, on the Yo Zuri, caught: 3 browns,…….all about 15”.

Had another on but lost it & a couple of follows.
